For those of you who are yet to try our service because you have never heard of us or have bought from us but still want to know more or if you just want to know about our background here is the quick history of Gas Boiler Parts..
Gas Boiler Parts, a new website but not a new company…
Although the website is relatively new it is the web “face” of Stevenson Sales, a trading name of Stevenson Heating Ltd.
- Stevenson Heating was originally established in 1928 and has been providing domestic heating services in the South London area ever since.
- About 30 years ago Stevenson Sales started as a local spares merchant as has been growing ever since.
- Roughly 25 years ago Stevenson Sales started supplying customers further away from its Trade Counter via a postal service for items that were at that time difficult to source (anyone remember Thermomatic or Glotec?).
- Business grew with the addition of Keston Boilers to the Stevenson group
- Finally British Gas chose to source all Keston spares directly through Stevenson Sales (even after Caradon bought Keston Boilers) in addition to already sourcing hard to get and nearly obsolete items that most other stockist do not keep.
Why this is good for you…
Given the history of Stevenson Sales and the experience gained over the last 30 years it was only natural to open this to a wider audience but not until we could give a service that customers wanted, such as stock availability, basic fixed delivery charges, flexible payment and account solutions and guarantees that meant something.
Now that all of the above can be met we have launched our site, www.gasboilerparts.co.uk, and online brand and are so confident in our service that we offer the delivery guarantee and fixed delivery charge no matter how much you order.
We hope this has helped but as always feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Regards,
The Gas Boiler Parts Team.
Does your site have a contact page? I’m having a tough time
locating it but, I’d like to shoot you an e-mail.
I’ve got some suggestions for your blog you might be interested in hearing.
Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it expand over time.
I am looking for a gas valve for a Glow Worm Fuelsaver 100 F
According to Glow Worm the Glow Worm part Number is 800869 and the valve is a Honywell valve.
If you think you have the right part in stock can you send me details of the full Honywell part numver and what it will cost.
Many thanks.
Ian Wallace
Hi Ian,
Sorry for the late reply, that item is obsolete (Glow Worm marked it as obsolete in December 2012).
Unfortunately we do not have any in stock so cannot check Honeywell part numbers and Glow Worm cannot tell us either.
Sorry I can’t be of more help.
Paul
I have a 27 year old Myson Economist WM30/40BF – I require
a Gas valve for this model. Would you have this obsolete part in stock
Hi David,
I have checked with stores manager and we do not have one in stock and they have contacted the manufacture who has marked the item as obsolete and unfortunately also has none left.
Unless you can find a reconditioned (not recommended) or alternative (not recommended) gas valve it might be time to look at replacing it.
We only supply spares from the manufacturer so can’t help with sourcing aftermarket alternatives.
Regards,
Paul
