Brittherm Pumps – Low Cost, High Performance

When selecting a new or replacement domestic pump, your choice is limited, often to the well-known brand – Grundfos – or from a selection of alternatives that offer little to encourage you to change.

Enter Brittherm Pumps.

Specifically designed for the UK market as a high quality and cost-effective alternative to the market leaders.

With a standard body length, the Domestic range can replace most common existing pumps without any pipe alterations.

Priced at nearly half the cost of the Grundfos alternative, with longer warranties (3 years and 6 years depending on the pump), identical body sizes (so no pipe alterations) and improved performance there is no better time to try something different. Definitely a value pump, not to be confused with “cheap” alternatives

And with continued development of new products, improved versions, a commercial range of pumps, and the backing of a large European manufacturing base they are quickly gaining a foothold in the market.

The are currently two full pump options –

How can these pumps be compliant with UK legislation there is no certification anywhere that says they are energy compliant and their warranty requires registering every product for the installer, designed to reject claims if you ask me! Already seen some very bad reviews on these online, in my opinion you pay once for these you will be paying twice and three times if you have any problems.

Cheap Chinese copy of the old Grundfos circulator with no details of compliance to be sold in UK or energy rating certification, merchants that sell these obviously are not very quality driven with the products they sell.

Dear Paul, thank you for your comments. Always good to have a balanced comment section.
The pumps are CE marked for sale and use in the UK and comply with ErP (currently) by having an EEI <0.23.
As a Merchant we aim to provide alternatives and options where available in various price ranges to our customers.
I cannot comment on any experience you have had with this brand and their range of products since you haven't purchased any units from us.
      Thanks, Paul.
